Yes, you can. You should add about 10 minutes to the overall cooking time. Make sure to baste each Tofurky Roast according to directions, so they don’t dry out.
We do not recommend consuming a Tofurky Roast that was left out at room temperature all night. We recommend defrosting your Tofurky Roast in the refrigerator, and preparing according to package directions.
We do not recommend cooking your Tofurky Roast in the microwave. Microwave cooking has a tendancy to dry out Tofurky products. As an alternative to cooking in the conventional oven, why not try this crock pot recipe?
Yes, you can cook a frozen Tofurky Roast. You will cook the Tofurky Roast for 3 hours and 15 minutes at 300 ° F, open and baste, cook for 10 more minutes uncovered. Complete instructions are on the box or our website.
Your Tofurky Roast leftovers can be reheated in the microwave. We recommend that you slice your roast thin and cover it completely with gravy before you put it in the microwave. Microwave times vary, so start with one minute on high. If that fails to heat up the leftovers to the desired temperature, continue with 30 second intervals in the microwave until desired temperature is achieved.
You can also reheat your leftovers by wrapping them tightly in foil and placing them in a warm oven, about 20 minutes at 250 degrees.

Yes, all Tofurky products are vegan.
We understand people's concerns about sodium and limit the amount of sodium in our Tofurky products. Because our Tofurky Products are intended to be a meat alternative, and often compared to the flavor of meat, some salt is required to carry these flavors. With most of our products we have achieved great taste with significantly less amounts of sodium than the meat counterparts to our products. Check here for full comparison table. People on low sodium diets should check out our tempeh line, which is very low in sodium, or consider cutting portions of Tofurky® in half.
9. How do Tofurky Roast, Deli Slices, Sausages and Franks compare to Traditional Meats in Cholesterol Protein and Sodium?

None of our Tofurky Products contain peanuts as ingredients. Some of our ingredient suppliers do process peanuts, however, and they have segregation and sanitation procedures in place to minimize the risks of cross-contamination. Please contact us directly if you have additional allergen questions.
Our Tofurky Products contain wheat and soy, which are considered to be “major allergens” by the FDA.
We have two tempeh products that are certified gluten free with the Gluten Free Project, the Organic Five Grain Tempeh and the Organic Soy Tempeh. Our marinated tempeh strips contain soy sauce but show nondetectable levels of gluten in lab tests. Our Ground Chorizo is also gluten free. We do not have a gluten free facility. All other Tofurky Products contain premium vital wheat gluten, sourced from Canada, the US and Australia. We do not buy wheat gluten from China. Gluten, the protein part of the wheat kernel, gives our products its unique, meat-like texture.
The following Tofurky Products are certified kosher-parve by Kosher Services of America (KSA): Tofurky Roast, Deli slices, Sausages, Franks, Links and Jurky. The following products are NOT certified kosher: Tofurky Gravy, Tofurky Feast and Tofurky Combo Box (both are packaged with the Gravy).
This depends on the product and the cleanliness of your refrigerator environment, length of time out of the refrigerator, etc. As a general rule of thumb, once opened product should be resealed in an airtight bag or container and returned to refrigeration as soon as possible. Under these conditions, product should be safe for three to four days. Signs of spoilage are slimy texture, off smell or growth of mold. “When in doubt, throw it out”. And, we always recommend using our products by their “best use by dates” unless they have been stored in the freezer.
We do not recommend eating Tofurky Sausages, Franks, Links or Roasts uncooked. Please follow the product cooking instructions on the packaging before eating.
All Tofurky® products purchased in a refrigerated state may be stored frozen for up to a year from date of freezing provided they are frozen prior to their pull date.
An uncooked Tofurky Roast can be safely stored in your freezer for about 18 to 24 months. However, after storing your uncooked Tofurky Roast in a freezer for long periods of time, you should check to make sure there is no visible freezer burn on it. Freezer burn may make the Tofurky Roast not taste very good.
Yes, you can freeze your leftover Tofurky Roast. However, you should handle your leftover Tofurky Roast properly, which means not leaving it at room temperature for more than two hours, and refrigerating your leftovers as soon as possible. To freeze your leftovers, wrap tightly in an airtight container. They will last for about three months in your freezer.
If you purchasesd a refrigerated Tofurky Roast (sold refrigerated, not frozen) you can keep it in a 41 ° F or colder refrigerator until the “best use by date” which is stamped on the outside panel of the box.If you have purchased a frozen Tofurky roast (sold frozen, not refrigerated) you can keep it in a 41 ° F or colder refrigerator for 30 days.

We don’t add MSG to any of our Tofurky Products.
We make Tofurky Products using only certified organic tofu, and we use other organic ingredients wherever supply and costs make it feasible. Our manufacturing facility in Hood River, OR is certified by Oregon Tilth as an organic food processor.
While Tofurky Products are significantly lower in sodium than their meat counterparts, they may not be considered by all people to be a low sodium food.
NO! Unlike most of our larger competitors, we do not use hexane-extracted soy isolates, concentrates or other ingredients manufactured using the eco-toxin, hexane. More info.
